I just ordered two…

I just ordered two mats. The thing is, they claim you can pay in 4 interest-free installments with PayPal and that it’s offered automatically. Except that’s not the case, and after one try I ended up clicking hoping there would be another step, and in the end there wasn’t, which puts me in an awkward position for €200 when I was expecting €50 installments over 4 months.

Good, but watch the color

Great quality, as expected and hoped. Perfect delivery. One downside though: the color of the mat (Sienna) should be close to a slightly reddish brown, and this one really leans toward brick red, so it didn’t match my expectations.

Depending on the type of lighting (cool LEDs, warm bulbs, halogens) and its color rendering index, the perception can range from reddish brown to brick red. All our photos are calibrated using a professional process (D65 / sRGB color profile) so that the color displayed is perfectly true to the product. But the light in each bathroom can change how it is perceived. If you would like to exchange it for another color, we are of course at your disposal and it will be our pleasure. Item received today, slashed open in my mailbox with a box-cutter gash in the mat! So unusable given the price…. €65 thrown away, unless La Berge’s customer service accepts that their packaging was clearly thin and shabby. I thought it was a Shein parcel! Apart from the fact that I’d like to receive a parcel in good condition, I’m terribly disappointed by the quality of the 50x80 mat, which doesn’t look as high-quality as in the ads. I’ve left it in the parcel for fear the company won’t replace the mat

Hello JP, We are truly sorry to read what happened to you. This is obviously not normal and we fully understand your disappointment. If the mat was damaged during delivery, especially by a box cutter, don’t keep an unusable product. Simply send us one or two photos of the parcel and the mat: we will send you a brand-new mat, no questions asked. To be transparent, opened or damaged parcels are unfortunately more frequent at the end of the year. Once handed over to the carrier, we no longer control that step, but of course we take over as soon as a problem arises. Regarding the current packaging, it is temporary. With the exceptional volume of orders, we temporarily have to ship mats from a secondary warehouse, which does not yet allow us to use our dedicated boxes. The mat is therefore shipped vacuum-packed, which can give a first impression very far from the final result. Rest assured: within a few hours, it regains its shape, its softness and the look you see in our photos. Next year, everything will ship from our new, larger warehouse, with much sturdier cardboard packaging. Just send us the photos, and we’ll take care of the rest. Have a lovely day, The La Berge team

Decent quality, but the color is very different from the photos

I ordered three mats shown as “dusty pink” for €165, after seeing several ads on Facebook. On arrival, the color turned out to be much more fuchsia than in the photos on the site, although the overall quality seems fine. I first had trouble finding the return procedure, but customer service was responsive and eventually sent me a return label. A mixed experience, then: decent products overall, but a color very far from what the pictures show
